We purchased our vacation home near Angel Fire in 1999. For the next several years we lived in several foreign countries as well as other locations in the states. During this time, our home in Angel Fire became more and more important to us. Angel Fire became a refuge from a world gone slightly crazy, and a place where we could focus on family values. We eventually decided to stay here and have never regretted the decision.

The reason I find being a real estate broker in Angel Fire so enjoyable is that you are helping folks find a second or primary home, and they become your friends and neighbors. It is a personal, long-term relationship based on service - not just a sale. Referring a new owner to someone who can repair a retaining wall or repaint their kitchen is the unspoken foundation of this relationship. Before scrolling through the MLS, I often like to ask my new client to describe a home in Angel Fire as if they were going to build it. Not on the number of bedrooms and baths, but how the home would be lived in by the family. The discussion helps me better understand their personal and family plans and priorities as they relate to Angel Fire. With these thoughts in mind, we can begin the search for a quiet mountain hide-away, the family’s recreational home base, or something in between.
